Founder, CEO & Leadership Strategist

KerrieLynn

I became a manager before anyone taught me how to lead. I learned through real employees, hard conversations, tight budgets, complex projects, and decisions that affected more than just me.

The pasture gave me the confidence to step into the boardroom. The boardroom showed me where instinct was not enough. Today, I bring those lessons together to help ranch owners, rural managers, and western business leaders lead with greater clarity, courage, and accountability.

Leadership Learned in the Pasture. Tested in the Boardroom.

For years, Savage Bandits was a dream I hoped would become something more. Then I realized hoping was not a plan. I wanted to build a ranch business strong enough to support the horses, create opportunities for my family, and leave a legacy that could last.  Savage Bandits had to become more than a hobby. It had to become a business.

What I didn't understand until I made that decision was that the ranch had already been leading me the whole time. My dad used to tell me: "When you walk into the corral, you're the boss. You can't be afraid, or the horse will know." I learned to walk into a boardroom the same way. I said "I'm not afraid" until I believed it, and I've raised my kids to do the same.

My life has always moved between these two worlds. The ranch taught me presence, courage, and responsibility.   My professional career taught me how those same principles shape teams, projects, organizations, and decisions leaders made under pressure.

Over more than two decades, I've worked across business operations, construction, affordable housing, local government, rural development, project management, and organizational leadership. I hold a bachelor's degree in business management and am completing my MBA, but my greatest lessons have come from leading through situations no textbook covers.

At Savage Bandits, I lead the business strategy, leadership education, brand development, and The Circle. I help ranch owners, rural managers, and western business leaders strengthen communication, accountability, delegation, team culture, resilience, and the systems that keep an operation moving.

I don’t teach leadership from outside this life. I’m still living it. Building a ranch business, developing teams, making hard decisions, learning from horses, and working to create something strong enough to last beyond us.

Strong Leaders, Strong Horses, Strong Legacies.
